The Lonely Side of Beauty
Women sacrifice to attain Her
Longing for the attention She brings
While shunning those She has touched
Not knowing She is always within
Men are bewitched by Her
Exalting that which can only be espied
They glorify Her fleeting aspects
And not the Eternal Spirit inside
What a desolate spell has been cast on Beauty
Despite being strongly desired by all
Coveted by women and stupefying men
Beauty often walks a lonely road
