Travel Theme: Curves

These photos are in response to Ailsa’s Travel Theme for this week.  Enjoy!

The curvy roads of the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt.

The lights of this tunnel in the forts at Old San Juan, PR shows of the tunnel’s curve.

This snail is from El Yunque Rainforest in Puerto Rico.  Our guide told us that the curvy shell for this snail is actually growing on the outside of the body.   A theory is that since it does not have predators, the evolution process is taking away it’s protective shell.  Hm…  How many times do we protect ourselves when there are no predators?

The snail looks good, did the guide say anything about snail-eating in Puerto Rico like they do in France?
