Weekly Photo Challenge: Hands

My entries for this week’s photo challenge:  Hands.

In my opinion, his hand placement is what takes the picture from nice to beautiful!  Our Guide, Eid, when we hiked up Mt. Sinai.  He was my picture fixation of the day, next to the sunrise view from the top, of course!

I was amazed to see the pain-staking detail it took for these guys in Khan el Khalili to make beautiful mother-of-pearl jewelry boxes!

My friends and I celebrating life!

I used this photo for my Photo a Day May 5, but I like it so much, I’ll include it here…  I love feeding birds and love the fact that this one took it right out of my hand!

  3. They’re all perfect contributions for the challenge – I think the ‘antique’ box maker (dirty nails and all – perhaps he gives them a good scrub when he goes home at night?) would be my pick – I just love to see hands doing what they do best, and his are extremely dextrous! Wouldn’t mind being Elena’s hand, rifling through all those gorgeous trinkets:)

  6. Very gorgeous. I love it. Love the first and second the most. Amazing…
Making jewelry boxes uh? That’s cool but, what is that little thing on the picture? A border to support the box?

    • Yes, your hand is famous!! I remember taking this picture. You had moved your hand faster than I could take it. I did the dreaded, “Can you do that again?” But I’m glad you did! It’s my favorite!
